October 2012 – Report Back Breakfast Meeting
This “‘Report Back’ Breakfast Meeting was held to honor COAL’s commitment.At the previous COAL October Power Breakfast, Mr. Gardner stated that he had called on the Mayor of Chicago for a face-to-face meeting to begin a dialogue towards addressing the lack of African American employment on major construction projects across the City. COAL committed to a follow up meeting to report back on that meeting or the lack there of.
Mr. Gardner met with the Mayor this past Tuesday, October 9th.
