Mayoral / Aldermanic Candidate Forums

COAL strongly encourages an informed electorate; COAL strongly encourages an informed Community.

Please see the below candidate forums featuring candidates running in the upcoming February 28th Municipal Election. We encourage attendance and participation, as your schedule permits. It is important that we make demands of those who endeavor to hold elected office and aspire to serve our community.

Incumbents must be held accountable for their performance in Office in making life better for Black folk, and challengers must speak to plans they will pursue, with specificity, to make life better for our community.

This is not a game; no one should get a free pass.

Due to the number of planned candidate forums, as well as special January meetings COAL is holding on specific issues important to the community, COAL will forego a formal January Coalition Power Breakfast. Please look for continuing COAL communications with civic and political information of import for the Municipal Election.

The next Breakfast will be the February Coalition Power Breakfast, to be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Respectfully,

COAL Board of Directors
