Daryl Newell, Senior Vice President – Urban Partnership Bank
Daryl Newell is the Director of Consumer Banking at Urban Partnership Bank, a community development bank with $1.3 billion in assets that serves Chicago,Cleveland andDetroit’s underserved urban communities. He has spent most of his career in the financial services industry working within the private banking, personal and commercial banking and operations lines of business at some of the industry’s leading financial institutions.
Daryl’s leadership and accomplishments in the financial services industry have garnered him national and local recognition, including: the 2006 Friend of the Continental Africa Chamber of Commerce US Award; a 2003 Monarch Award in the Business category; an inclusion in Who’s Who Among African Americans, 15th Edition; and an Illuminati Award from the Institute for Positive Living’s Open Book Program. His volunteer and charitable giving efforts extend to several organizations, including the National Football League Retired Players Association, 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc., and Northwestern University Alumni Association.
Daryl attended the Kellogg School of Management’s KMI14 Program and received his M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management and his B.A. degree from Northwestern University.
