Myles Francis, Project Director – UChicago’s Center for Youth Violence Prevention (CCYVP)
Myles Francis is a south-side resident working to address youth violence & promote trauma-informed care in Chicago’s high-burden neighborhoods.
After studying economics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Myles returned to Chicago, applying skills in data analytics to market research before transitioning to the role of project manager and then project director at UChicago’s Center for Youth Violence Prevention (CCYVP). As project director, Myles helps build the capacity of community led organizations by providing administrative and technical assistance around data & evaluation as well as bringing support and resources to local events and programs.
Myles is also a certified mental health first aider, a lover of Chicago blues, house and hip-hop, and a die-hard fan of Chicago’s sports teams.
