Rob Rose, Vice President of Lending – Chicago Community Loan Fund
Rob joined CCLF in March 2012. He manages all aspects of the agencies’ lending program including external relationships, marketing, origination, underwriting/credit review, loan services, reporting/compliance monitoring and portfolio/asset management. Rob led the effort to create the Small Contractor Bridge Program. The Small Contractor Bridge Program provides working capital loans to small contractors, including minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses, which enable them to bid on and execute public works contracts throughout Illinois.
Throughout his career, Rob has been responsible for nearly $3.2 billion in capitalization across a wide range of portfolios: Before joining CCLF, Rob was Director of Commercial Real Estate at Urban Partnership Bank, where he managed a $170 million portfolio. At The Lynd Company, he managed a 420-unit property, and at GE Capital, Rob helped underwrite over $900 million in equity investments over six years. Rob currently serves as a member of the Advisory Committee of The Law Project and as a Board member of Sweet Beginnings LLC.
Rob holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University with a concentration in Real Estate Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management from St. Edward’s University.
